The remake turned out to be a pretty decent stand-alone film that did nothing to tarnish all the things I dug about the original. More of a drama than an action-packed scifi film, and that was just fine with me.

Yeah, making him remember his past life made it more interesting. And I liked how they showed how he was put together-really cool.
I don't know. If there is too much drama, I won't like it.

Thought it was pretty darn good considering how iconic and beloved the original is.
