Wow! I know these shots are not entirely indicative of Transworld (haven't been able to make it yet, but always tune in for the vids afterwards). But man there's more skin in these shots than ComicCon.
And while there's a handful of good stuff in there that i find appealing. I just don't see a lot "Halloween" in these events. Each year the pro-haunt industry is looking more and more like an extension of the horror film industry and less and less Halloween like. But that's my take.
Agree with you V. I think it's cool and I'm thinking about MHC, but it's more for friendships than anything else. I thought some of Kevin Alveys things were great, there were some Fauns that I loved, but nothing I'd rape my credit card over. Saw an awful lot of "pumpkin sentinel" things, lots of things in caves, castles, etc...where the figure rushed out and screamed, shook. Saw a really cool witch in a tree design. Overall though...not a ton of old school Halloween.
I completely agree with you Terrormaster. Never really understood why Home Haunters were involved unless they were going pro and making money off of Halloween. I Never charge TOTs to go thru my Home Haunt. Most of my props are hand made. I have no interest in going to these shows.
Although, I have been to Ironstock several times. This event has never been featured as a Trade show. It definitely was a Gathering of Home Haunters sharing ideas and talking Halloween face to face. I have so many great memories with family and friends there.
Most of the time the weeks before Transworld and other Pro Haunters Trade shows I read about how wild its going to be and how drunk they are going to get. I rather stay home and build my own Halloween props.

Man, that would be fun to go to.
Great photos! They should hold me over until MHC...
I was there and I didn't see some of these! Great shots!
