I saw that bridge featured in Runner's World last month. I guess there's a popular half or full marathon that crosses through it every year. :)
The third pic from the top of the JOLs: do you (or Frau Rot) use a certain kind of knife to get those rough, primitive-type edges to the carving?
We carved those first with a knife and then chiseled the edges with a screwdriver.
In 2012, Bean carved all of them with just a screwdriver. Favorite year for jackos.
