There were two movies growing up that really frightened me to my core. When I saw The Amittyville Horror, I thought I would never recover. Just when I thought those feelings had finally subsided, along came Poltergeist. Still to this day, both films me hating looking out windows at night and punching clown dolls in the face. How about those skellys in the pool Rot??!! Forget about it-
That house used in the film is right in my town. Simi Valley, CA, not that far down the road from the home used from the other Spielberg focus during the same time. E.T. We always go by the Poltergeist house in October evenings when in the area, just for the hell of it.

Cool. I might have to watch this movie on this home vacation week.

Teaser trailers have sure changed over the past 30+ years.
