Kammarheit: The Nest

Saw this over at the Highbury Cemetery blog, Kammarheit, at long last, has a new album.  Personally, I place them in the top three finest Dark Ambient projects.

Click below for some gloomy samples.

And Rot,
I'm curious to know what your other top dark ambient artists are? I have a growing amount of Kammarheit, Lull, Lustmord and Northaunt on rotation. I've also used Aphex Twin in my haunt, as well as Jeff Greinke's "The Moor." HIGHLY recommended track from 1992!!

Love Aphex Twin and Greinke.
I'd say my top five favorite Dark Ambient projects are (in no order) are Kammarheit, Raison D'Etre, His Divine Grace, Letum, and Desiderii Marginis. Raison D'Etre moved into a different sound over the years, so it's primarily his older stuff that appeals to me most.

His Divine Grace:

A fave by Raison D'Etre

Desiderii Marginis:

Letum:

And perhaps my fave Raison D'Etre track (but i can't remember the name of it nor the full track so here's a video I made with an edited version of it):
