Can't describe how excited I get this time of year hoping and waiting for artist Rhode Montijo to respond to my annual 'Happy Halloween' email with some photos of his Halloween doings. I'm a HUGE fan of his work, so it's always such a fan-boy moment when I see physical props looking like his paintings and illustrations came to life. This year is no exception. When I saw the bird cage-bodied Pumpkin creature, I nearly died of joy (totally possible).

SO cool! I love the tree's face too...and that uber-tall top hat. Great haunt! It totally embodies his artistic style.
Side note: I've always had the goal to one year dress up as Lucy in her white dress and Elizabethan collar for Halloween. Someday!
