WOW...each of those are amazing. And I can recall seeing cemeteries in those old movies and wanting the scene to never change. I bet all Haunters/Halloween lovers feel this way about these things...
I bet there's a blog out there which has every single Hammer/horror film cemetery featured on it.
And those old time Hammer/horror film graveyard scenes are awesome. So year I would like to do just a graveyard haunt. Tombstone's, lighting and fog. That's it.
Yeah, those old film graveyards are so nice to see. Always pausing the movie or show to study them. And you're begging for candy yard haunt cemeteries are so awesome to see. The asymmetrical tombstones in silhouette, bent iron gates, wonky bats and ghosts give that old school haunt feel we all long for.
I think that's one of the reasons I love New England. Sometimes there's just a twenty foot section or so of cemetery right at the road's edge. SO much history...and mystery...in these old cemeteries. Out west I guess the tradition was lost. The people are all crowded together in one massive site (Forest Lawn, for instance). Not much age or character. You capture the character of a graveyard Rot. Love this!
