I absolutely LOVE Pasada's stuff.
I'm proud to say that I was into the Mexican Day of the Dead stuff LONG before it was cool and all over the internet...the first book I ever purchased on the subject was a tiny book packed with his illustrations.
Awesome!!!! yeah, Day of the Dead "stuff" is like on the half shell now. just like Frida Kahlo. all these lovers suddenly. haaha
do you think Sam's work kinda pulls from that same well? like from the dark feelings soul well. sorta political too. but, that's maybe not the right word i'm looking for.
