so get this.. We went to a thrift shop and looked for stuff that could pass for clothing from the 20s...so it was thick button down shirts and a high collared night gown... but i was very cheap and wanted to save money, so I decided to cut all of the clothing in half longways... then dirtied them up. Even up close they looked like "whole" garments...but I doubled my money..or, rather, doubled the 1920s clothing.
Omg really!!! That's Genius!!!! i just looked at them again after reading what you said & Damn..did that ever work about well. i don't think i ever woulda thought of that in a zillion years. & that's why you get the BIG Halloween bucks man!!!! : )
we were watching..The Alienist (1896..NYC) last night & there is a stakeout scene on the rooftop of a residential bldg & of course there's wash hanging up on a clothesline & C. says.."is that full wash you think or half?"...HahahAHAHA!!!
