I like the slightly benevolent eyes and mouth. The notches on the temple are driving me nuts.

I found it odd they sculpted the aging in. So it comes off more like old-age human skin wrinkles.
Overall I'm ok with it, though the mouth seems a little off from what I was picturing. I think maybe it seems to have a larger jaw that makes me think underbite.

very ceremonial looking.
where's my knife...hahahaha

Totally hadn’t seen it as an underbite....til now. Lol.

at this point, I'll be happy as hell with this mask if the movie is entertaining, fun, and SCARY.

It does kinda look like they made the mask with some age to it.

Hmmm... I can totally expect a new flood of masks to follow for the next few Halloweens.
Kids walking around wearing wrinkled blanks....

Just noticed this, because my home computer screen is brighter than my work one. Looking at his left eye (our right), I can't tell if it's a Photoshop mistake, but it looks like this Michael design has one eye that is pointed upward, off-center. The lower picture definitely looks like an artist duplicated the eye and moved it up, and also left the original eye in (presumably by mistake.) But if this image is an accurate bit of concept art, we might see an eye injury or deformity reflected in the final makeup or added digitally.

that's interesting as I saw some fans on a horror site referencing the same theory. Funny.

How on earth will they pull this off?

Easy, Rot. CGI........sigh....

Although at least they had a smallish budget so that's promising.

The aging you mention is just baffling to me. I could understand cracks, paint peeling, but masks don't get laugh lines, frown lines, etc.

In the end if it's a good movie I won't care I suppose. Be funny if they threw in the original clown mask that was a contender somehow. Just show it in a store or something.
