Adieu, farewell earths blisse,
This world uncertaine is,
Fond are lifes lustful joyes,
Death proves them all but toyes,
None from his darts can flye;
I am sick, I must dye:
Lord, have mercy on us.

I think it’s pretty cool that the haunts you post have a part of your influence in there somewhere.
You were the influence of my scarecrow from last year.
You have corrupted we Haunters minds...........
I'm digging the "bring out the dead"' cart!
same here. I love that cart and how it looks with a body in it ...in the dark.
such a great theme.
I love the back lit plague mask, it's wonderful. The pumpkin's face is wonderful as well.
Yeesh, that "PLAGUE" sign looks like it was painted with blood and pus. Revoltingly good color choice.
Thanks for sharing Evil Vines here, Rot! I do have to give a shout out to Matrix Mom for her inspiring Plague theme a few years back. And thanks for all the kind words here! Happy to hear I got the vibe across with that Plague sign. Both the cart and the sign were a fortunate salvaging of torn out fence. il Peste was a very fun theme that I think I'll revisit in a few years.
Jay's Shadow - you are so right, Rot inspiration abounds! The first time I saw one of Rot's creations was a revelation. They range from ominous to anguished yet there is always an underlying beauty to them. Like Rot's Halloween 2015 corpses. Those things scare me, but I can't stop looking at them.
the beak doctor is so iconic & i think his reign was truly the scariest in medical history. Great Haunt, capturing these Real Horrors & i think the blue lighting really compliments the sadness & loss of that time so well. Lovely homage.
