Where I live, there are SEVERAL abandoned churches...some made of fieldstone others just made of wood but all of them creepy. Something very unsettling about old decrepit churches...It's like do they go bad after a time lol? This is going to be a good Halloween for you!
If you need the numbers of some priests to help you with the authenticity, let me know!

yeah man..get those pent up catholic school boy/church days OUT my philly bro. i mean look at John Waters & Divine, best catholic school/church boy team ever & they changed the world for the better!!! Remember in "multiple maniacs" after Divine is raped by the Cavalcade of Perversion & the infant of prague shows up & takes her to that church, where she meets Mink Sole & gets a rosary job in the pew...HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!

Idk why, but when I first saw CHURCH I thought of the kitty from Pet Semetary - my favorite part of the movie (not that he needs to be included, haha)! Either way, so looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Oh my...oh boy. Ok, My friend has a 'thing' for sleighs. He collects them. Beautiful ones in his garage. He just shared with me his latest acquisition...which is still in New York.
It's a child's sleigh hearse. Really-such a thing does exist. I've seen the pics and it's beautiful in a sort of 'what kind of demonic energy are you bringing home with it' kind of way. It even comes with its own coffin...supposedly never used. Imagine the possibilities in a haunt scene.
Can Not Wait to see what you do this year Rot. Just sayin'

I was building this year's haunt around children that were sacrificed, mined really, of their youth and vitality by renegade religious leaders. Priests tied to posts, smoldering flames, etc. "Good", done in by evil... in the form of the spirits of halloween.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, this is the year I finally get my knee fixed, so no haunt at all, just long, involved rehab.
So much that can be done with such subject matter. Can't wait to see what you do, as always.
Jeff, you could do a haunt about your knee surgery. You can lay on a table and have whoever playing the surgeon using rusty tools or a chainsaw...........:

Sweet! I’m very excited to see what you do with this theme. I love creepy, lonely, seemingly empty churches. So many directions I can see you going with this. That means you are probably going to do something none of us saw coming and blow us away even more...
