Eugene’s is a most peculiar, Halloween-themed candy store in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. It carries an assortment of bulk candy, specialty chocolates, nostalgic favorites, and fun novelty — all served with a dash of macabre.

Speaking of delightful, artisanal, hipster candy shops, have you seen "Shane's Confectionary"?
never...i'll look it up.
thanks
OMG..Shane's is a philly tradition since like the 1800's. the original shop still stands in old city (2nd market street) philly. it's right next to the franklin fountain ice cream parlour/soda fountain..two great old school places one should really visit especially during the Fall & Halloween. Gorgeous atmosphere & the decorating IS insane...coffins!!!!!!in the windows. bats everywhere OMG. the chick that does the windows is super talented & you can often catch her outside "her windows" peepin in..gettin ready for her next exhibit. she's perfectionist!!!
WOW..never heard of it!
I need to go here!!!
Well guess I got two new destinations on my list
Hey Pumpkinrot, I LOVE your work. You are incredibly talented.
This blog post reminded me of a little shop that I adore, and I thought you might like it to; if you ever find yourself on the West Coast, near Oregon City (or Portland, Oregon) you should stop by Ghoul Gallery. It's this little year-round Halloween store filled with decor, props, etc. Most of which is handmade or from different artist's collections. Anyhow, I found it by accident one day and it's like a little haven where my creepy soul can find a bit of peace during all those non-Halloween months of the year. The website isn't that great, but if you google the shop you can find plenty of images of its wonderful, wall-to-wall Halloween treasures. <3
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll totally look it up.
OMG, this place is a dream
