I absolutely love this song! I was always a fan of the Peanuts because of the music as much as the cartoon, with the Great Pumpkin being my favorite of course. A few years ago I used this song in my haunt though I don’t think anyone recognized it. This past Halloween I slipped in a rock with each handful of candy I gave out to the kids. As I walked past a group of kids that I just handed candy to, I overheard one of the kids whisper to his friend “I think I got a rock.” That kid made my Halloween. ;)

It is played constantly on my Fall music playlist every year. A true classic!
I watch this movie each year after everything settles down Halloween night. It is a really nice night cap. I love the music and imagery from this movie.

Vince Gerardis's (the Game of Thrones producer) name is so similar to Vince Guaraldi's
name & so it got me wondering, how would "The Great Pumpkin Waltz" theme work for replacing the opening credits music to Game of Thrones..HAHAHAHHA!!! it's soooo good. i love the new vibe. hahaha.
