Ruptured World is a Dark Ambient project that really spoke to me. It wasn't conventional or familiar, to the point of being in a class all by itself. The tracks meander from garbled narrations to vast, sweeping, beautiful pieces of music. It's haunting and sad, and lonely.
If you don't typically enjoy Dark Ambient tracks posted on this blog, definitely give this one a try. And bear with it until the three-minute mark (and don't you dare just flip to that mark!).

Those first 3 minutes remind me of the 2001: A Space Odyssey monolith music. Eerie.
