Here's a recipe for something that you either have heard of or you haven't. In these parts, it's a regular St. Patrick's Day favorite, and they're sold pretty much in every supermarket during the month of March. Easy to make and really great (if you like coconut, that is.).
Click below for the recipe (and leave a comment if you have these where you live, or if you don't!)...

I lived in Northern Jersey a long time ago and that's not real far from where I grew up. So St. Patrick's day rolls around and I mention Irish Potatoes and everyone treated me like I just said "we eat small children back in Pennsylvania!"
No one had ever heard of these things.
Never heard of them and I’m Irish and my folks did the corned beef and cabbage stuff. Gag.
haha I love corned beef and cabbage! (not Irish) Though my mother claimed to be come St. Patrick's day...
I live in PA….. never heard of these before!!
That's interesting!
Now you gotta make em.
Never had them. I live in Texas, but spent some time in Nebraska as a kid, and we didn't have these there either. I definitely would try them!
Interesting. I'll mark this stuff down on a map. haha
Yup they're everywhere! My daughter used to love them, I made them a few times... very messy. I can only eat one or I get jittery and my teeth hurt from the sugar...So good!
Yeah...these things are mega sweet.
The cream cheese part is the seller. ha
Only have em at See’s Candies here.

Naturally, CA had to ruin them. Shocked they didn't stuff avocado in em:
"A scrumptious, sumptuous seasonal treat. Our luscious Divinity filling is enrobed in milk chocolate, then rolled in a cocoa-cinnamon blend and topped with pine nut “potato eyes.” Sold as a single 2.5 oz potato."
And they look like there are walnuts stuffed inside!
I'll call them today to complain.
Hahahaha go ahead. Sorry your East Coast doesn’t get to taste amazing treats like these. ( i’ve literally never had one LOL)
haha I'll let you know what they say.
