Agreed.
The entire sode was amazing. Hard to believe that was just one episode in a season.
I just did an X-Files sprint a couple of weeks ago (stopping at season 6 episode 'How the Ghosts Stole Christmas'), and the truly great ones still shine...'Jose Chung's From Outer Space' is absolutely top-tier!
The same writer (Darin Morgan) was also responsible for the similarly excellent episodes 'Humbug' and 'Clyde Buckman's Final Repose' in the original series.
That blankety-blank sure could write, and all of those episodes were bleeping fantastic.

And agreed about that writer. Legendary episodes.
I love the X-Files, one of the best things on TV. One of my favorite episodes. My favorite episode has to be "FAMILY".
