Happy First Day of Fall, everyone. I feel like this autumn season is FLYING. My dad was right when he used to warn us that time speeds up as you get older (and more miserable). Made a corn stalk run last night and will be doing up the porch this weekend in the cooler temps. I swear unto GOD I will savor this stuff and slow time down whilst I do.

Hopefully getting less miserable! Happy Autumn Equinox!
Haha Def!
Happy Fall!
The background in the first picture is stunning. Those hands....wow
Nice placement of the skully ring on the body in the background!
haha Thanks! All shall be revealed on Halloween!
Have an enchanted equinox rot - I think slowing down and smelling the pumpkins is an excellent idea.
Totally agree!
That’s a nice haul! I bet your supplier smiles when he knows you are coming for cornstalks!
The weather down here is very nice yesterday and today. Was feeling the fall vibes for sure.
For me, it’s almost like déjà vu. It brings me back to a moment of doing something during fall, even if it’s not Halloween related. Hard to explain.
Happy first day of Autumn to you, sir, and to all of the denizens of this corner of the internet!
I hope that everyone is taking the 'slow down' approach; The Big Day will be here before we know it, and I hope everyone enjoys everything the season has to offer. (I just got my first pumpkin of the season and his stem is AWESOME)
Heck, I'm even (mostly) happy to wait and see what's hiding in the basement...
WC, that farm sees me as a minor player in an area with massive homes that buy up their stalks, but mostly from the Haunted Attractions in the area. They wipe them out and it's always a mystery if they're going to be gone by the time i get there. I call first, but they always tell me that it's a first come/first serve situation. But they absolutely know me by now. Been going there since like 2011.
RM, I plan to begin stocking up on pumpkins this weekend. Hoping they all last this time. I lost four last year due to rot.
Ahhh Autumn.
It is what Andy Williams was really singing about.
Were you getting into Farmer Brown's crops again.
Indeed!
Happy fall, looks like you're off to a good start.
Thanks!
Great haul Rot! Hope you didn't have too much to clean out of your vehicle after you unloaded. Corn gets a little messy. I did plant some but it's just starting to silk out so I think we will be harvesting for Thanksgiving this year. The patch still adds an Autumn vibe though, green as it is. A belated 'Happy Autumn Equinox'.
The car was really a mess! And I dread to think of the small spiders that hitched a ride.
Haha! Just makes life (and driving) a little more interesting.
I decided to grow my own corn this year. Nothing like 8' corn stalks growing in the backyard of your suburban home.
