I saw a comment about this that hit me just right...mostly because I have no idea if it was intentional:

HAHA That right there is brilliant and entirely accurate.
I assure you they will reboot the series in one year's time...and JLC will play the new Laurie Strode's mom.... or Nurse Marion. Haha

HAHAHA! They're seriously entering into Godzilla/Kaiju country now with ALL of these crazy installments. "Halloween Forever" followed by a number. Ugh!
& i keep hearing how this "last" one is going to be soooooo strange & feel very odd like it doesn't fit in with the other 2 in this series. i'll be there to check it out & listen to the commentary AS USUAL. cause i'm newsie. HAHAHA!
Yeah. Worried about the sub-story about some Michael wannabee or something weird. And I thought these guys were trying to make michael more human... but now we have Laurie suggesting a supernatural Life connection where if one dies, they both die.
Yawn. haha
But I'll be there... watching Myers be even crueler than in the last film. I'm assuming he uses nukes this time.

David Gordon Green also directed George Washington (one of the loveliest films of ALL time) along with Pineapple Express which is a comedy masterpiece. So i was really really expecting some of that genius baggage in these projects but we got ALL this Cruelness instead!
I'd still like to know where Michael's been hiding out and living for all the years in between this film and the last one. Why are the characters in these movies always so stupid? She's got him dead to rights when he opens the front door, why doesn't she empty her revolver into his head? Or use a sawed-off shotgun? Or throw a bucket of kerosene on him and light him up?
It's just another money grab because they know people will go and see it and hope for another one next Halloween. Regardless of how it ends(get it?) there will be another one.
