Building Scarecrows

Splendid. The scarecrow appears to be almost embracing the moon with its outstretched arms (it needs a name ;) ). She is so different with her arms. I would never have thought of it. A real highlight for me. I noticed that the fog was very heavy this year. Was that a new fog machine? Seems to have been a substantial amount.

Thanks! That moon effect was totally intentional to appear that way. I love that shot (the last three photos weren't taken by me!)
New fog machine, but the same brand I've used for years. So I'm thinking the fog was reacting to the moist weather... slightly warm out with high humidity. And the fog tube I run the fog through was very chilled.

I love the moon grabber as well! Photo 5 is beautiful...the lighting with the fingers of fog is magical!

Agree! Love those photos.

How do you attach the heads to the shoulders, especially if you're using a real pumpkin. Awesome as always.

I Love the first pic with all the fog and the sky.

Every one is different, actually. And I've done real pumpkins in the past, but these are foam pumpkins I've accumulated over the years.

That fog layer is the way I've been trying to get mine to look for years. Beautiful!!!

I can smell that haunt. Dead leaves, burnt pumpkin, corn stalks, the fog. Man oh man what an absolutely brilliant haunt.

Thanks so much for that!
I really appreciate it.
A ton.
