You were where Mr. Haunted Eve grew up, e.g. Warren County NJ. You were only about 8 miles from the infamous haunted "Shades of Death Road" near Jenny Jump State Park, named after the legend of the girl who jumped to her death there. There's also Shippen Manor over in Oxford, NJ that is rumored to be haunted.

Thank you for giving Northwestern NJ the kudos it deserves. People from the Rochester, NY region would sort of give me the look of total disbelief when I would tell them how there were mountains, forests, lakes, ponds, rivers, streams, dairy farms, and cornfields abound where I grew up in NJ.
Now if the taxes weren't so high...
