This is definitely a must-see, Nicholas Cage as Dracula? I love it.

This is a must-see.
As if the general concept and an opportunity for a fully unfettered Nicolas Cage alone weren't enough to pique interest,'Renfield' also evidently has a role for William Ragsdale, which furthered my hope that the film may be a wink-and-a-nod type of love letter to the entire genre.
Having seen the trailer now, that notion was only reinforced.
I didn't even know that about Ragsdale and a search reveals he's an "Elder Priest" and I THINK it's the priest who explodes. I hope not! So thanks for mentioning that.
