It's painful, isn't it. I love setting up, tweaking all the lighting, sounds, fog, and prop positions. It takes a couple of weeks until I'm finally happy. And then it all comes down in a day or two. I have to remind myself to not start working on the improvements for next year, that I have a few months to relax.
You know...it's really kind of annoying how great your photos always look! Love the overhead angle on this one....reminds me of all of those black and white horror films we grew up on.

Great shot, and such a perfect allegory for how it feels to see it all lying there once it's done.
BTW- all of the elements of the toe-pincher are really great...it's unnervingly long and narrow, and has such excellent textures!
