I thank you from the bottom of my heart that Medusa made it to your blog. It's always surreal to see my creations on the blog that means so much to me all year long. My personal early Christmas present. This year it was a huge challenge to create the Temple of Medusa as a 1-man team and at the same time restore and weatherproof the scarecrows from last year. Everything remained in place until November 8th because a class from the art school registered to view it. This allowed me to introduce a completely different audience to my way of working. Next year I want to try to make everything smaller and easier to build. The whole thing will probably just be a kind of exhibition that can be viewed shortly before and after Halloween. Because this year not a single child was there to trick or treat. So I would like to give visitors the opportunity to inspect everything at their leisure over a period of about 2 weeks. I thank you for your constant, unceasing inspiration and that you have played a huge part in my art making it from little Austria to the big wide world.

So SOOOOO CREEPY! I just want to take him home with me ! : D So many possiblities with how to stage him.
And again....That first photo is so cool! I love the effect of the cave ceiling...and the coloring and lighting really give it that underworld feeling.
