Fire Goooood

Broke in our new Halloween fire pit last night after work.

The maiden voyage was a blissful success... and seeing glowing bats and a jacko face smiling fire wasn't too shabby either.

That is very cool, where did you find something like that?

Really cool firepit! Side note: Took advantage of the weather yesterday and tested out your recommendation for the 4" diameter perforated flexible drainage pipe with our fog machine on our front paver terrace yesterday, minus the frozen water bottles, and it did the trick. The only thing we had to order was an 4" end cap because the fog machine pushed a good portion out of the fog out the other end, but fog was still coming out of all the perforation in the pipe. Granted inserting frozen water bottles in the pipe will add some resistance. We also have 4" diameter C clamps that we will mount the flexible pipe to at the beginning and the end of the run so the pipe can't roll away/shift from the fog machine. So much easier than building a huge chiller and then trying to figure out how to hide it with the limited display space on hand!

EXCITING!!! Cannot wait to see photos! I usually stuff a small towel in the end! Haha

Flaming jack-o faces on-demand, a couple of drinks with the smell of burning wood in the air, and the mesmerizing sound of the crackle and pop as night comes on...yeah, that'll do.

Was really terrific. I should’ve bought one years ago!

Such an amazing fire pit! I bet it'll get tons of use this fall. Glad you got to give it a whirl before it's too hot out.
