Yea Todd did a great job this year! Being a one-man show myself, I could just imagine….how long it took to pull all that out, set it all up get all the lighting, do all the electrical, absolutely fantastic job!
The lighting is on point!
The details look very cool, but IMO, it's too brightly lit. I've always preferred my haunts to be darker than most, it makes the visitors pay a little more attention to what I've done and not always sure about what they just saw.
It’s the camera that brightens the images. Mine do the same thing. I thinks it’s great!
Yeah, regarding the lighting. I think all Haunts that use LED lights and iphones to take photos are taking a hit, my Haunt included. I will try to play with the levels while editing photos to get them to appear more like the way they looked to the human eye, but it always ends up looking way brighter than it was on Halloween night. There's an obvious trend in social media Haunt photos where they mostly seem bright and whimsical, and in the past, with old cameras and non-LEDs, they seemed more shadowy and spooky. We went all LED last year and the photos are really bright and almost whimsical... which worked with last year's theme, but I am going to try to go low-light this year and experiment with the iphone to see if I can get it more like how the human eye sees it.
