*chuckles* Don't feel bad. It's the nature of the beast. I'll change something on my site to make it better, then a few months later realize that same section makes me wince again. Websites are evolving creatures.
At least you didn't have loads of flash animation (glittery wing-flapping bats and dancing skeletons) on the site.
You know, as a newbie to the genre, I have not seen anything you have done that sucks yet. I'll keep looking.
I can't remember when I was first directed to your site but I can say I don't recall that site index. Still creepy to me. All I CAN remember is being blown away with that 2003 yard display.
I remember making a crude page of my 2003 photos to show people in the office and some old coworkers, rather than send attachments in an email. Then the bug just sort of bit me.
I still think it looked pretty good actually, though your newer design is better, I agree.
I'm usually too lazy to do large overhauls, so all my websites tend to look dated. That and I'm too lazy to make it really look good right from the start, so I'm doubly doomed. :)

Its not easy making a site.
And I cant fathom spending $1000 just to have one made... though I dream of it. It looked good, still does! :)
