I ran to Target last night for the pumpkin pie pop tarts and to my horror they only had the Choc-o-Lantern variety. I've checked four different chains of stores and all of them only have the chocolate ones. I wanted to pull a Christ in the Temple and start pushing things over...clearing shelves with my arms. Pop tart rage.
I looked around and most of their decorations were out. I once again was camera-less, but was super happy to find that Target's Halloween offerings were documented on the Bliss Massacre blog.

don't get between a man and his pop-tarts, especially if they are pumpkin-pie pop-tarts!
still cant find these ...sob!
We have a ton of the Pumpkin Pie Pop-tarts in the Carolina's. I can send you some if you like.
Super generous offer. Thanks!
I'll give it another week : )
I'm hoping it's just a timing thing.
Ugh...our Target has BARELY begun putting out stuff! I don't know why, but they ALWAYS drag it out super-slow. I think they secretly do it to annoy me. :P
Yeah, this is pretty fast for them. Last year, and years before, they were horribly slow.
LOL!! The next time you visit Seeds at Peddler's Village you'll probably find a load of Boxes of Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts that Blog Readers have left at his feet.
make sure you tell us if you find them because i'm a pumpkin whore...they are not at walmart or harris teeter here in virginia ...booooo
You will get them, you're Pumpkin Rot! You are the Pumpkin King! You must have pumpkin pop-tarts! All in good time...
Ha! Awesome!
Did a little window shopping for my halloween yard haunt this year. my feed back......
Ive checked walmart near franklin mills they are lazyly putting their halloween Decorations out. The one by the Blvd is the same but has more stuff out already got to check target tho.. Looking for skeletons to fix up, the walmart skeleton are 9.00$ each those but are to little, want to capture the eye on the view for my display this year..
Our Walmart is also very slow! And there seems to be an obvious lack of excitement. As much as I'd love to see everything come out, I always feel inevitable disappointment...it's been a growing feeling for years now. Everything does look the same, and what's worse it that quality is getting really poor. Even at the "professional," seasonal Halloween stores (Spirit Halloween, Halloween USA, etc, etc) quality gets shoddier every year. It's really becoming a bummer.
