Magic Stone Productions and Brainstorm Media are producing an Untitled Homemade Haunted House Feature Documentary for a NBCUniversal cable network and are looking for participants.
October 31 has always been the target for mischief, monsters and – above all – FUN. But this dedication to Halloween mayhem isn’t just carried out by costumed children and prank-crazed teens. From the suburbs to the cities, there’s a tremendous world of devoted adults who spend the better part of each year transforming their homes into spine-tingling, heart-stopping Houses of Horror… or at least they give it their best shot. Beyond all the fog machines, plastic fangs, fake blood, coffins and cobwebs, there's a story about passionate die-hards who live to scare.

YES!!!!! I've always wanted to see a documentary like this available on more than just YouTube! Rot my man, you've GOT to enter!
Sitting this one out. : )
How cool is that? I can't wait to see what they do with it.
Thanks, Rot! I just submitted.
And I knew you'd sit it out. :o) But what would be really cool is an interview with you in a dark room and speaking through a voice transponder, like they do to protect people's identities!
I submitted! Hopefully they will pick smaller haunts, and not just professional haunts that happen to be run out of peoples houses.
Very cool. I'm in for Rot being in silhouette, hah.
"Sitting this one out"??? Say it ain't so Rot! Not having your creations in a an professionally done Home Haunt Documentary is like not having Hank Aaron at a home-run contest! :-( If your anonymity is an issue, you can always do the "distorted voice in shadow/silhouette" gimmick that they have on undercover news reports.
Yes, I too vote for an incognito interview, Rot! :D
'YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO BE CONSIDERED.'
:(
Rot, It'd be SO cool to see you on this documentary. Even just a black silhouette. Man, you are LEADING the haunt community!
Looks like you gotta suck it up and do the incognito thing for your adoring public, man. :oD
Crazy talk, I say.
Crazy talk.
; )
HA! I'm imagining that thru the course of these interviews of all these haunters they discover that many of them have been inspired by this "pumpkinrot". As the documentary unfolds they begin to do more research about this "person" Man or myth. They decide to form a team to do a "susquatch like" hunt for this "Pumpkinrot" But you are too clever and keep leaving assorted props throughout North America to throw them off their trail....
: D
Matt Moneymaker: "I thiiink we have a Rot in these wooooods..."
HA! Noah, THAT is funny.
"Locals around here claim to have seen a white eyed corpse torso with crooked teeth and black hair floating down the Delaware river. We're onto him!"
DO IT! The first thing I thought when I read this post was how PERFECT this competition is for you!
