Of course this comes on when I am at work, only got to see it last week cause had off. I will have to see if it gets reran on the weekends so I can watch it on the big t.v.
It's the production value and the feeling that the show is respectful of the people telling their stories. For example, last night's episode was pretty emotional..a family discussing losing their daughter in a car wreck. Really some heavy stuff.
Wasn't expecting to get bummed out, but it had a semi-happy ending.
It's not a ghost-hunting show in the least. Just people telling their stories which happen to involve the paranormal.
Last night's ep also featured two policemen discussing a run-in with a UFO. The entire time you're listening to these guys you're thinking "well, they're telling the truth." Same goes for the family who lost their daughter.
I watched this yestarday. I should have known this was one you were interested in Rot. I was hooked. It was credible and not over-dramatized like so many of the others are.
I loved this weeks episode!! It was definitely emotional...but it goes to show how far a Mother's love for her child can go.
The story with the two policeman was crazy!!! I absolutely felt like they were telling the truth. They saw something out there...and even they have no idea what it was.
i'm with the rest of you. this show was great. really emotional. And the story the young man told about what he remembered from the night of the crash made me feel a little better about how the universe might possibly work.
I enjoyed the first episode very much as it was creepy as hell. This second episode did not appeal to me near as much. I daresay I was bored. Not to tears, but certainly enough to want a better episode three.

What sets it apart from the other ghost shows? I haven't watched any of them in years . . .

Really well made. Great music and directing too.
