Ha! I can believe that one. People are probably going to the wholesale clubs now and buying the MEGA bags of candy that are on sale after Halloween and hand them out for years.
I don't understand how candy can actually LAST that long in someone's house. The reason I buy candy *I* like is because most of that giant bag ain't going to the ten trick or treaters we get per year.
I know someone who admitted their parents had a bag of chocolate candy in the basement of their house which they stored away with the decorations, to give out the following Halloween.
Sorry. That's cheap and kinda gross. Chocolate turns grey.
I get about 300 trick-or-treaters every year. We buy 2 mega bags of snack size chocolate, one mega bag of dumdums, and one of the Willy Wonka varity pack. We give each kid one chocolate and two candies...my wife gets mad that there's never any candy left over to snack on after the magical night is over.
Hahahahahhahahaha! SOOOOO true! I'm with SaraB though....Halloween candy never last very long in our house. Anything not eaten by the second week of November is just crap that no one wants anyway!
I agree with Screaminscott...you HAVE to collect these in a book one day. This has become a favorite feature of your blog for me!

Brilliant!
I want a book of them too.
And one of The Pumpkinrot Tinies.
That'd be awesome.
Thanks, everyone.
I'm just happy people are digging this.
