I don't think I have ever ended up at any of my teacher's houses for trick or treat.

lol! the ticks are what got me...hehe. fabulous artwork as always, rot!
And I am almost certain my French teacher was a witch. :)
When I think about it, ticks are probably one of the scariest things ever. They totally ruin nature for me. Kinda like sharks in the ocean. No one would be afraid of the ocean if sharks didn't exist. If there were know ticks id be a more outdoorsy person. I mean who wants to be deep in the words knowing a parasitic, disease carrying almost microscopic bug will most likely cling itself to you and have to be searched for later? Nature is screwed!

Ticks top my list, above aliens... and demons hiding in the walls.
I was watching that movie Arachnophobia a few years ago, and had the creepiest sensation that my son, right next to me, had a tick. So, mother's intuition, I started searching him for ticks. There WAS ONE right on his neck, below his hairline. Dun dun DUUUUN. Dude, true story. Ticks suck.
you need to do a Tick Psychic show.

I have a tick horror story. People accuse me of lying when I tell it. I've never researched ticks, but I KNOW that when we were young, my brother and mother walked through a nest of them (Or a place where a thousand young ticks were waiting). Both of them were covered in tiny pale ticks...light colored and small....and all of them heading upwards. They were screaming as if on fire.
A horrible memory.
But they got every one of them off.
I don't think my mother has ever been the same.

Ya know I think you might be right. Excuse my spelling today. I must be drunk or somthing. Also typing on a phone with auto-correct ain't helping. We probably share a fear of things that are more likely to be real than more far fetched things. If a tick infested spaceship full of possessed aliens was found to exist I think I just may off myself. haha

oh, and I dig the idea of my own show!! I think it would work. Then, eventually, there would be a spin-off called, "Cajun Tick Psychics". Can't you just see it? LOL. ;)

Ticks are just a part of daily life up here in NH. A repulsive, horrifying part. "Tick checks" are required every time the dogs go out. Before they come back inside, the lay down and roll over for a full inspection. And when I'M outside I get super-paranoid about them.
We get so many and these things are supernatural up here. I've actually seen them when there's snow on the ground. No joke.
Not only do we have to watch out for ticks here in central Texas, we have fire ants, giant flying cockroaches, and mosquitoes. It's a jungle out there.
This is a great one. I got my first tick last year, after our annual Salem visit. :/ It was pretty traumatic.
The artwork for all your comics is SO good. Do you use a program to make them digital? If so, which one?

I scan a pencil drawing and use an old version of photoshop to darken the lines and lighten the eraser marks. Then I color it.
Ultimately I'd love to just draw it and color it on a tablet of some kind.
Ah-ha, awesome! I didn't know how to make these types of drawings (which show up much better online, while still having the look/feel of a hand drawing). Thanks for the info!
