A leftover shot during the filming of Swamp Foetus of the Witch prop. Houses lined the entire cemetery. It was really difficult to frame them out. I didn't rig up her hands and the pumpkin since we were shooting her from behind.
I KNOW people saw this standing in the graveyard.

Haha, wonder what they thought of that? :)
Beautiful cemetery and great shot.
Freakin' fabulous! I wish all of us Halloween nuts lived close to each other--just think of the haunts we could create!
Best costume EVER!!
: )
That's not a costume, actually.
Every time I look at it I still think it looks like someone is under there. But that's a prop. For the far shots of the Witch moving, Bean wore that witch hat and wrapped a black sheet around herself. Low tech.
If I was living in one of those houses, I would of come a running over with a camera. (Staying out of the way of course)
Yeah, I'm with Jay! If I'd seen that, I would HAVE to have come over to meet the folks behind this!!
That would have been a sight to see come dusk...
Wow, as always, your props display an amazing realistic shape or form. The shoulders on her make it look so real.
It does look like there is someone under there! When I watched the movie it was hard to tell if it was in fact a static prop or more of a costume. That really compliments not only your design skills but your filming skills as well Sir! I absolutely love that hat!
When you can see her green face, it's the prop being operated by Bean...
And the two shots of her standing still....full back shots...those are the puppet staked into the ground.
And all the photos on the 2011 page..those are all puppet/prop : )
wOw..this is LOVELY, she really looks like she's paying her respects..i think it's Amazing, when Stillness, Actually feels like it's moving...as if, it's thinking or breathing & you can Actually feel it..
i LOVE that magical feeling!!!.
i think that ties in with what WC said.
Thanks!
