Thanks Autumnleaf!! That's the corner of our living room where we always keep a bit of Halloween out. Well actually...we may leave a few other things sprinkled around the house ;-)
Our Home Goods didn't have a ton of stuff out...but what they did have was pretty darn cool. Will definitely be heading back to see what else they get in.
Shani, that corner lends itself perfectly to some 'special treatment'! I'll be calling my local HomeGoods shortly to see if they've put stuff out yet. We are alittle slower on Halloween than the East Coast is. :(
I went to Homegoods on Sunday. Called ahead to make sure they had Halloweenies in stock. "Oh, yes," the lady said. "We have a lot." She lied. Barely anything, nothing awesome, except for a fabulous, nearly two-feet-tall black owl for $60. I desperately wanted him, but we're still on a severe budget until we get the old house rented in October. *sigh* Now I can't figure out if I hope he sells so the temptation fades or hope he's still there and take the plunge.
Awwwwwwwwww.. He's a Lovely pumpkinhead boy, meeter, greeter & treat keeper. i LOVE his checkered board base, nice Art deco flavor..he's an Awesome find!!
heyyyy, that's a Wonderful idea too, posting people's Cool Halloween finds...soooo Exciting to see em!! <33333333333
My H.G. started to put up more stuff. Wow. Did you see the metal pumpkin caldrons? The largest one was around 25 bucks. Deal! It kinda looks like the one you made last year when you were playing with fire.

Thanks for posting!! This totally reminded us of Trick 'r Treat. Definitely one of our favorite props now!!
I was there last Sunday! My store had only just begun to set up though... I will definitely be back this weekend to check things out.
He has that grin you should not trust.

Totally the same metal pumpkin I used as my base...then I cut the eye and mouth holes to make it look rough and less polished.
