November First

It's the start of our year.  The Harvest is over.

Raining today.  Can't say I remember the day after Halloween ever having rain.  It's usually mild and sunny when I'm out there with the flattened leaves and tired jackos.  Hope everyone had a great Halloween.  Ours was pretty sweet.  The late rains in the forecast held off until after 1 am.  The Devil, The Witch, and The Ghost have moved on.

I'll be working on the photo gallery this weekend and coming week.

Yeah, no rain here on Halloween night. Just BEAUTIFUL chilly air with the moon peaking out from time to time.

It's good it is all gloomy out today for I will be depressed while I take down the haunt this morning.

As for your Halloween great trio......... R.I.P

No rain here. It rained Halloween morning but not too much. Everything pretty much dried out. It was a real fine night. As usual, feeling a little let down today - sad to see it all go. The evil trio are very cool Rot.

Deadest Halloween ever. Gobs of candy left over. I'm not doing this next year. :(

Yeah, small crowds this year. It was Friday night and great weather. Whats up with that? I started giving out handfuls to kids.

First and foremost, HOLY GUACAMOLE those pics are amazing! Can't wait to see the rest.
Those creatures are epic!
Looks like today you got our weather from yesterday.. Apologies :-(

Nashville got rain, high winds, blasts of snow, frigid temps all morning and afternoon. It was miserable, but the rain stopped right at four and we hustled pumpkins from the garage to the yard and had a frigid, gusty Halloween with bonfire roaring in the wind..
Setting up again tonight though..

Happy Halloween! Ours was pretty decent. Probably about the same number of ToTers this year as last year.

It was pouring cats and dogs by midnight. But we managed to rescue most of the perishables beforehand. Crowds were decent..got rid of all of the candy.

Snowing in parts of VA.
Love the props this year!
With a 6-year-old I am inundated these days with Sabrina, Harry Potter and My Little Pony. You are my sanity Rot. :-)

Rained all night, counted around 60 kids with another 30 or 40 adults in small groups wanting to see what the fuss was about.

I think GA had the coldest, windiest Halloween in memory. I had the damndest time keeping the candles lit. The rain started about 9, but it didn;t stop the kids:) Terrifying haunt, Rot.

Those were the three costumes that were banned or at least frowned upon at my Catholic grade school. There would always be a devil or a which or two though. We had perfect weather last night, simply perfect. It has been raining all day. This was a perfect year for us Halloween. I couldn't have asked for better. Happy belated Halloween.

We had a great night, here. It started raining about 9:30 or so, after everything was over. We had a pretty good amount of people, I'm guessing somewhere around 800. I was expecting a bigger crowd for a Friday night, but there were a lot of other events going on around here.

Love the pictures! You guys did a great job, as always!! Seems like our neighborhood has gotten worse. We got one Trick or Treater......got tired of waiting so we left the candy outside and took the pup (wearing his pirate hat) out for a walk to see the other decorations in the surrounding neighborhood. There was candy missing when we got back so we got a few more...or at least one more greedy kid ;-) We don't have kids ourselves....but damn....I want some Trick or Treaters!!!!!!!!!!!!

So strange. been hearing that from a lot of folks. So many expected MORE kids because of the Friday night thing, but they all got LESS kids than previous years.
Wonder what's going on...

I've been seeing the same thing as well from other haunters and around forums and blogs. We were down 30-50% than we usually have. And weather wasn't all that bad here either. Not sure myself what's going on. But the going theory is that Fridays and Saturdays are bad days for ToTs. Especially now with Mall-o-Ween and Trunk-or-Treats contending for younger ToTs and Hallo-weekend parties contending for teens.

Either that or the Illuminati is trying to shut down Halloween LOL.

By the way, totally diggin this year's haunt Rot. I love how you're able to cast three separate light colors into such a small confined space. The ghost is definitely my favorite.

Bless us O Lord Rot!!

So Cool.

We had no rain...very calm night...low turn out but with everything that went on this year it was good for me.

Perfect Halloween.
