So I have a new friend that's a zoo keeper at the LA zoo and she straight up said she'd rather go into the Lion's cage with a bone around her neck than deal with the chimps. She also said apes were so different than chimps. So I've changed my mind on apes. I'm not going to invite an ape over for coffee anytime soon but I'm side eyeing any dang chimps I see in the future. Not that I wasn't before.

I'm lucky. The chimps are all hunted out in my area.
