Lol, our oven shuts off automatically after 12 hours (thank God lol)
You can leave yours on so long and then turn it off for a few hours in between before starting it up again.
We did that with our first jacks - the bigger ones (because we wanted to bake garlic bread in the oven, I recall 😄. )
But taking them to your mom's is a great idea as well! 🎃

These are really cool...the 36 hours is the oven is pretty hardcore. Love it.
The Jack-B-Little pumpkins would probably dry well in a food dehydrator. I cut some sections out of my stackable tray model for taller items. Will post results after Halloween. :o )
