I have to peek out my window at the haunt several times a night! Nice view. We had everything taken down the nest day except corn stalks and spider webs. To my neighbor's relief, those came down today;)
I know haunts are supposed to face out to the street, but its cool to be able to look out and see your own props. maybe next year i'll set up stuff in the back yard to see when walking around the house. Its nice to see jacko's lit outside when the house is dark.
So cool!!!! Unfortunately the way my haunt is situated I am not able to enjoy it from inside my house. This would be so much fun to be able to relax on the couch and enjoy the results of your efforts.
It was very hot in the house that night on account of it being a very warm day and now all these people were inside the living room. So we opened all the windows to cool things off...fog from the fog machine filled the rooms with a light mist. Pretty neat night. Fun view out the window.
Rot, how long will you leave this up? I would want to enjoy it for as long as possible.....even a dusting of snow would make it very cool!!! Though I wouldn't want to see any of your props ruined.
Only Halloween night. Lately i've been longing to keep stuff up longer prior to the big night. But i've always been a one-night show kinda guy with the Haunt. Even now when we do the night-before photoshoot, we take down the big props and leave only the organic elements outside overnight.
I really need to build some weather-proof props that go out a couple weeks before Halloween.

I'll take that view any day over that of the city, mountains, or water. I'm envious.

I leave my scarecrow up until Christmas. He wears a Santa hat during the holidays.
What a view!
