Halloween Horrors

This one has it all going on.  Ghosts, Ghouls (assumption), Devils (with a real store-bought plastic trident), and a paper skeleton on the door... and two baskets of what appears to be chocolate bars (hoping my mother was giving out a name brand or I officially know from where I received my gives-crap-candy genes).

I don’t think there was a huge variety of chocolate back then and I feel
Like all of it was “name brand” right?? Interesting thought...full size was the only thing that existed (albeit much smaller than our 2022’s “full
Size” and less varieties).

I'm really not sure. But I know my mother used to buy items in the supermarket called "No Frills"...red and black lettering with plain-white boxes. she was a pioneer in generic food, drinks, clothing, etc. She once bought me jeans with the name brand "VIOLA" written on them.

Hahaha, well that’s a good point. Maybe they weren’t chocolate bars at all, maybe they were boxes of raisins. No frills raisins.

haha what are you saying exactly about my parents, sara!?

raisins would totally be their style. My dad used to "suggest" that we put raisins in our cereal rather than sugar (back in the days when kids poured sugar on their cheerios).

I loathe raisins so much. I'd sooner eat live bees in my cheerios than raisins.

It may be my imagination, but those "chocolate bars" look an awful lot like ABBA-ZABA bars, one of my least favorite candies of all time.

Hey! What a great pic.
You guys have the best poses! We all stood awkwardly. Kudos for the Rot kids being in character during photos
