She Flew Away

I've gone on in the past about my fondness for the JEEPERS CREEPERS films...  This one was on the other night and I still marvel at how entertaining I still find it after all these years.  How I am rooting for the kids and not for the creature....  and how I relish the Creeper getting stabbed a million times at the end...and how I still get a chill when I see his eyes open in pure anger/hate as his body is shutting down for another 23 years...

BEATNGU

Some of the corpses they have found had false teeth made out of wood. That means some of the bodies they're finding down there are over two hundred years old. But Peter, it's the condition of the cadavers that's the strangest fact of all. The county coroner's office reported yesterday that they have yet to find any one complete body. Each one is missing an external limb or an internal organ.

Creepy Drain

There's a drain sticking up out of someone's yard (not sure what it is, really) in Bucks County, PA....along US 1 North (or maybe I-95).  But it's sticking up straight and not on an angle like in Jeepers Creepers.

I swear to you, right here and now, if I lived in that house, I'd spend hours and hours out there with a bloodied human-sized sack and wait for cars to pass by so I could toss it down and look startled (and angry) that people in a car saw me doing it.

Hours of fun.

Deleted Scene

From Jeepers Creepers 2.
I've had this photo on the bulletin board next to my computer for years. I know it's from an old Fangoria magazine, but I can't remember the specifics of the scene. There's a Viking on the horse...and that looks like some Spanish armor on the right.

I've never seen it anywhere online, so I figured I'd post it.

It'd make a neat yard display.

1941 Chevy COE

This was one of those horror movie moments I'll never forget. I didn't know anything about JEEPERS CREEPERS when I put it into my dvd player. Then that strange truck flew up on the main characters' car and laid on the horn. Wonderful.

Here's a link regarding the whereabouts of the three trucks used during filming.

Additional information.

I'd love to tool around in something like that.
