The Haunted (1991)

A TV movie that was pretty creepy back in 1991 and still holds up (for the most part).

It dealt with the Smurl poltergeist and the creepy photo below of the real family pretty much proves that it was all true (though based on that logic, photos of my miserable family prove we had a poltergeist of our own...  and we didn't [not that I know of]).

The Watcher

657 Boulevard is anxious for you to move in. It has been years and years since the young blood ruled the hallways of the house. Have you found all of the secrets it holds yet? Will the young blood play in the basement? Or are they too afraid to go down there alone. I would [be] very afraid if I were them. It is far away from the rest of the house. If you were upstairs you would never hear them scream.

Shadows

After the baby was in the crib, talking away on the baby moniter as always, I went into the kitchen w/ the 4 yr old brother to fix us a snack. The laundry room is off the kitchen, towards the back of the house & the kids are terrified of it. As I was getting the food ready, I saw a shadow go under the laundry room door, as if someone walked by it. It startled me. I had a shocked look on my face & the little boy looked up at me & said in the most matter-of-fact way, “Don’t worry, that was just the little one, not the big one.”
