Skull And Bone

I was a little confused by that... I am hoping that meant that they are through with the Miss Rose theme, and not that they are through with haunting all together. How did you take it?

I spoke with Rob and he actually means that this was his last year putting on the incredible show that was his yard haunt.

I'm still in shock over that decision, but I totally respect it and will do my fair share of mourning it with plenty of blog entries and tributes.

Rob is a class act, and I call the guy a close friend. One of these days I'm going to be drinking bourban with the man, swapping haunt stories. : )

Here's to Skull And Bone.
And Rob.

I hate that... but like you said I respect his decision. Best to go out when you are on top I guess. I'll miss his haunt, it was one of my favorites too. I learned a lot from him, and he was always willing to answer any questions I ever had. I simply cannot wait to see any more pictures that they put up this year, they are always the best.

Yep. I remember the first time I found his pics. I couldn't believe it. Such art. And when I saw his scarecrow with fabric over its face, I was instantly a fan.

This is very sad. I respect the decision, though. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been.

Cheers, best wishes and sincere thanks to Skull and Bone, Rob and Miss Rose.

Oh man, sorry to hear he's closing up shop. I emailed him for the first time recently, just dropping a line, saying how much I appreciated the pics of his haunt.

The tutorials on his site were always inspirational, even if I didn't use them directly. Rob's a true artist.
