The Witches Of Pumpkin Abbey

If I saw these guys when I was a kid, I would have been terrified.
Skull-faced witches. Just wonderful.

At the Pumpkin Abbey blog.

That's an awesome idea! Wish I'd thought of it, but that won't stop me from stealing it for my yard. :)

Agreed.
Under the right conditions, these things could cause some serious harm.

When ever we need inspiration we visit your blog. Our scarecrow and ground breakers came from our attempt's at emulating your work. In fact my most cherished possession is a small pumpkin Bean made. Thank you for blogging about us!

Yup. Back in the day when the houses didn't have to have tons of porch lights on for the trick or treaters and looking up the steps seeing these sitting up on a dark front porch.....shiver.

Yeah, such a striking visual. Who knows what could be lurking under witches hats?

these are masks with hats and hair attached. I have three of these and I set them up in a similar fashion--masks on a styrofoam head, chicken wire, etc., for the bodies. easy and very cool looking around a bubbling cauldron. here's a link to purchase if interested: @$25 http://www.costumersnetwork.com/product-detail/MR031051/grim-reaper-with-hat-and-hair-mask-adult/#.TmC4jI6X9OY

http://www.costumersnetwork.com/product-detail/MR031051/grim-reaper-with-hat-and-hair-mask-adult/#.TmC4jI6X9OY doesn't take you to ours. Those don't have witch hats and are the wrong color. Ours have green faces which is why we picked them so many years ago to be used around our smoking cauldron each year. We LOVE them.
