Sacrilege...very appropriate. There is good reason to continue with these remakes. Sam Raimi is at least consistent, he consistently continues to disappoint me with the movies he decides to make since the Evil Dead. Oh well, just my humble opinion.
Saw this earlier today. I mean, from a studio perspective I get it. Reboot with fresh actors that are younger and are alive. That way the milk this thing with sequels. Ugh!
A couple things struck me as odd in this trailer.
One, why change all the character names yet keep the title the same. That would be like rebooting Elm Street and renaming Freddy Kitty BooBoo.
Two, as typical with most trailers in the last 10 or so years, the trailer shows way too much in terms of monsters and major plot points. You know like the fact that the neighborhood was built over a major cemetery.
For reference I rewatched the original trailer. That was marketing! Gonna go cry in a corner, i've all but given up on Hollywood.
heyyyy, i know what. Poltergeist could be remade & maybe, Toby Hooper could ACTUALLY, maybe EVEN direct it, the 2nd time around...hahahahh!!..Poor dude. : (
Omgggg & they finally did it. Rosemary's Baby, ONE of THE finest films of ALL time has been remade into a mini series..hahahhaha. Never mind my door being darkened, what about my heart being plunged into ETERNAL Darkness...woe IS Me..:((((((
P.S...Dear Sam Raimi i Love You & Thank You for F***ing up the Spiderman of my childhood. xoxo me

Jesus...looks like a made for TV skit.
It's intrigued me JUST ENOUGH to see it in theaters. When's it coming out?
July. Oh. GREAT time for a spooky ghost movie. Yeah.
Sigh... just... Sigh......
I can't even comment on this, but I will say that bean's comment, "I spit like a goat." had me howling.

So, wait, they cast Zaphod Beeblebrox as the father?
Not looking forward to this. At all. I wouldn't be so against remakes if they could at least make GOOD remakes.
yep! Another one I heard recently is the remake of Ghostbusters.. all female lead cast. I get the remakes but try to stay true to the originals.
Mark Faucette, I seriously hope your comment was a joke. I'm not even going to Google that to see if it's true.
Oh God, no. Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
I Googled it.
It's actually true.
And rumors of Bill Murray in there as a cameo or whatnot.
I hope he doesn't.....
I double and triple spit and kick shi...on this.
I can't even speak about the Ghostbusters...thing. Furious.
