I ran into your blog recently and I looooved it. I'm a fall child, so this all comes to a familiar level with me. Being obsessed with 90's Halloween decorations from when I was a kid, this blog hits home.
I host a blog about musings, zodiac, tarot, and general graphic design... but I will be posting and linking to this blog shortly.
Let us return now to those thrilling days of yesteryear.....when (according to my uncle) he had 3 choices for his costume: hobo (old clothes, shoes, hat, sack on stick over your shoulder, burnt cork on face), a ghost (yep, an old sheet with eyeholes), or wear his pajamas.
Those were the days. A Roy Rogers boxed costume was craved by my uncle like mice crave cheese.....

I would seriously love to collect 1950s Halloween masks!
Great pic. I'm still trying to figure out what the kid in the center is dressed up as....
I bet that was the spookiest house on the block, too! Good for them!

Thanks, Leelah.
Glad you dig.
Yard haunting pioneers blaze a trail for future generations!
Love looking at old photos like that. Wish my parents took more pics...
I have 8mm video of my father carving pumpkins with my brothers. Had to be around 1963? I will try to post it to the website one day...
I wish I lived in the 1950's, for the soul purpose of TOT'ing back then...
Aaahhhh, back in the day. What a nostalgic pic.
