Black Cat Bakery Cupcakes

I posted about the Black Cat Bakery HERE and mentioned how we planned to return in October.  Over the weekend, we took another trip to the region.  Came home with these beauties.  Each one is amazing in its own way.  Whomever creates these wonderful cupcakes is an evil genius.  You can figure out which is which by the beautiful designs...

Black Cat Bakery

We make the unusual delicious.

After visiting this cool little bakery near Scranton, PA, we can confirm that their tagline above is accurate.  Turns out that the beautiful raspberry white chocolate skull that we had to bash in with a mallet on a recent trip to the Noir Dark Spirits restaurant (blog post here) was created by this fine establishment.

We ordered the Dragon Cupcake (Chocolate cinnamon cupcake, filled with cayenne ganache, topped with chocolate cinnamon buttercream) and it was absolutely perfect.

We asked about their seasonal offerings for Autumn and she started to mention flavors that sounded wonderfully made up.

Monster Pops

I must confess a great fondness for the cake pop.
Wish these things were around when I was a kid.  We had to endure party foods like dry cupcakes sprinkled with powdered sugar.  As if any kid really wants to eat the cupcake and not the frosting.

I hope there's a deep place in Hell for mothers who pulled that stunt.

Some neat stuff here. I bought the pumpkin seed brittle last year. Amazing stuff.
