That is so great.
Thanks, man.Didn't get to take them out yet for a decent photo shoot, but I thought this one was neat.
*Current wallpaper; Superb!
these are just beautiful.....love the jacko faces
really like the face on the very right side
Thanks, gents. : )I'll be taking more photos over the next few days.
Bad ass.I'm sure you know that already. :)Love the lights within the eyes.
Amazing work (as always!) Can't wait to see more of them
Im really diggin these Rot! Great work!
Really cool Rot, those rule. Of course now I want to copy them for my haunt.
Incredible. How tall are they?
I need to get off the computer and out in to the garage! Their faces and hands are awesome! Are the heads from scratch or did you add on a stalk on to the top of a funkin? Either way, I can't wait to see the Corn Witch!
Thanks! The heads are funkins with mache stems. The bodies are about four feet long and are going to be on tall posts buried within corn stalks - like they're growing out of them, or perched there. Not quite sure yet, but they'll be fused with stalks of corn. The Third Sentinel in the back will be up on the porch. Thanks so much. : )
Are you f*****g kidding me?A) I want to live in your head.B) I just scrapped my haunt for this year. ;-)The detail is superb. I love these.Brilliant work as usual.
: DThanks, man.
I guess I don't need to tell you these work on every level, right?Well. They do.
I don't even have the words, brother. Simply brilliant work. I'm getting the feeling this may be your best year ever. Can't wait to see it all together.Yet another doff of the cap.
Holy cow man... the cornstalk idea sounds really cool!
Those are great! Can't wait to see this years haunt, I'm sure it will be filled with lots of other surprises.
What a great photo!! This year is going to be great. LOVE these sentinels.
Just superb, John. Creations like this make me want to retool my display into a more traditional setting with cornstalks and scarecrows. Beautiful!
Thanks again, guys.REALLY appreciate it.Makes me want to build and build.
Yup, that did it! Sometime in the summer every year I get that feeling. Something I see, smell or feel gets me into a Halloween vibe. Seeing these pics make me feel like planing or working on something. Man ....I haven't even been to the shore yet! That is just great! Awesome work as always!
Rot, be as it may that I myself am currently giving an attempt at replicating a sentinal (faring well, actually) Would you mind telling me as to where to get the Pumpkins that you used for thier heads? I've searched all over eBay, Amazon, and Google looking for pumpkins, but I cannot find anything remotely similar to the ones you used. Would you kindly lend a hand?
Those were from the Funkin company.Called "no. 9's"Funkins.com has been unpredictable in what they carry.
