Packing for the end-of-May move. This guy has been hanging around since Halloween.Hopefully it'll last long enough for the new neighbors to see it getting carried into the house.Note: Cats love boxes.
Good luck on the move! It's always exciting to have a fresh haunting canvas! BTW, is that a real pumpkin?
You should have one carved out and dress in your Michael Myers outfit when you first arrive, carrying it up to your new home.
Yep. Totally real. There were two of them, but about a month ago the smaller of the two grew soft white hair...and turned mushy.Jay..that's a perfect plan.
wow, that pumpkin lasted a long time! all 4 of mine went mushy by January :(I don't think I've told you before, but I absolutely love your blog! I check it everyday..it's my fave :)
Never seen that cat before, is it yours?
hey, thanks, Christina. : )
yup. That's our old cat.I featured a few photos over the years. Click on the "cats" tag of the post and there are a couple photos of her...
So how many of your moving boxes say "Halloween"? I bet like, 90% of them, huh, lol?The pumpkin looks fantastic and rot free :)
An alarming amount actually : )
So true! Kitties are obsessed with boxes!
Oooo, new digs. You going to do your haunt there this year?
yup : )
I'm in the same boat. Our house is being built, so we're putting as much stuff into storage to make the house appealing to potential buyers as possible. The wife told me, the other day, "y'know, honey, you really are going to have to move the coffin out of the garage and into the storage unit. You're going to scare off house shoppers".If it were ME, and I had discovered a coffin in the garage, I'd be negotiating for the homeowner to throw it in with the house. My wife assures me that I am not a typical homebuyer in that regard.
