You Solved The Box. We Came.

Save your tears.
I'll reap your sorrow slowly.
I have centuries to discover the things that make you whimper.

LOVED the first one, and maybe the second one too. But the rest.....UGH.

Yeah. I was just thinking that I needed to re-watch the first one. It's been a long long time.

Can't remember the others.

OMG...Pinhead
one of the most beautiful creatures ever given birth to...

yeah, the First one is a Masterpiece...
Clive Barker wrote the short story "the hellbound heart"
which inspired the film...
he also wrote & directed the First film Only...
i guess, that's why it's soooo Great...
then...he just Sold the sequel rights away... :(

i Still own them all tho & Sorta love them...
it's Doug Bradley's turn as Pinhead that makes me Love them All like i do...
his performance is just Wonderful...you can tell he's done theater as well...

i've met him twice at horror conventions...i've got the worst crush on him...i Can't help it!!!...aahahaaaaaaah!!!!.. i do...

Ohhhhh & i should mention...
at the convention..he gave a special performance of a scene from Hellraiser...
it was just him & nothing else...
i can't even explain what happened...it was MAGIC...there were maybe 15 of us...maybe, less...
we all stood around with our mouths hanging open...
he's Magic...like the way orson welles was & is...

he wrote a book on masks too...
very interesting...y'all should check it out...

he doesn't star in the movies anymore...i did watch the ninth one tho called.."revelations"...
some kid as 'Pinhead"...it was Horrible...like "high heel dress up" time... :(

Hellraiser is actually going to be rebooted & remade...

& Lastly...check out the student films he & Clive made together back in school...
aaaahhhhhh!!!...omg...

ok...i'm done...

I think Hellraiser could be a great reboot if the creators respected the source material...AND if they had doug come back... I detested that Robert Englund was passed over for the Nightmare reboot.

Mind you, i'd rather see original NEW horror, but if they're gonna reboot, then there should be certain rules to follow : )

and i would have killed to see that performance.

oh yes....the robert englund pass over is criminal...

i Can't get over passing up lou Ferrigno either...
i mean...
how many remakes of the "incredible hulk" have there been?....like 27?... :(:(:(
&..Lou looks Exactly the same...
he's a National Treasure...
but NAH, they would just rather
just CG some Crap instead...

i believe "hellraiser" could be
properly reborn....But...really...
what's the chances....

& i Agree 110% on the NEW Horror point...we NEED NEW movies NOT tons of remakes...
there's NO excuse either...
because honestly, it's EASIER Now
than ever to make a movie...
can't complain..about "the man"
keeping ya down anymore...

Ohhhhh & that Doug Bradley performance was Intense!!..
he made things happen that Weren't
even there...sighhhh

I met Doug Bradley at the Darkness Haunted House in St. Louis back in the nineties. He autographed my VHS copy of Hellraiser. I had to put it in my pocket to go through the attraction. When I got out to the car I noticed putting it in my pocket smeared his name a little. I was very upset about that, but I got to meet Pinhead! He was a really nice guy. I asked him about another Hellraiser and if he would reprise the role and he said as long as they keep paying him. So I guess he enjoyed being Pinhead. "Do I look like someone who cares what God thinks" Love it!
