Not really amazement, but more like extreme satisfaction that I captured what I wanted to capture. I still over-criticize my props and see things I should have done differently, but overall I'm able to take a step back and enjoy most of the photos as though I was removed from the process entirely. I'm grateful that people dig our photos.
Ditto what Jeff said...it looks like she could be in a bog in the deep South. And Rot, you are a classic artiste. Over criticizing your own work and then stepping back for the larger picture is all part of the process.

It's awesome how many jackolanterns you guys do.
I would end up cutting a tendon in one of my fingers if I did that many.
Oh yeah, I did do that already........
Looking forward to this year's concept... any hints?!
Such great shots!! I just want to escape to the world of these beautiful photos. I'm so sick of summer already.
Yeah, I lit a ceramic pumpkin last night after work (1 am! )
Happy dreams.......
Rot, do you ever look at these shots in amazement? Or are you too close to it?
Unbelievable work, your visuals top any Halloween related movie, show etc that I've ever seen.

Love that Corn Witch shot, different angle I hadn't seen before.
